Joseph Allan

Joseph was born in 1895.¹ Joseph's father was Henry Allan and his mother was Isabella Hunter. His paternal grandparents were Henry Allan and Devina Cook; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Hunter and Mary Gray. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Henry, Jim, Robert, Mary, Catherine (Kate), Ina, Isabella , Jeanie and Elspeth. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.
