Ina Allan

Ina Allan Birth 1896

Ina was born on March 26th, 1896 in Coalsnaughton.¹ Ina's father was Henry Allan and her mother was Isabella Hunter. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Allan and Devina Cook; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Hunter and Mary Gray. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Henry, Joseph, Jim, Robert, Mary, Catherine (Kate), Isabella , Jeanie and Elspeth. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 14 on March 26th, 1910.

- The gravestone marking her death was erected by Henry after his wife Isabella's death between the years 1925 and 1928 stating she was 14yrs old.
