Rachel was born about 1809. Rachel's father was Issac W. Wallis and her mother was Elizabeth Hobson (Wallis). She had six brothers and three sisters, named George, Timothy, Joshep, Billy, Thomas, Isaac, Ruth, Rhoda and Tisha. She was the second oldest of the ten known children.
