"My grandfather Wallis [Issac W. Wallis] was Irish descent. Was a large man, weighed 200 and a great fighter and a good worker, but no business man and no scholar. He was blue eyed, fair skin and even temper and lived to be 85. He was a member of the Old Baptist Church in Wayne County, Tenn. where he lived most of his life, but came to Arkansas and died." -- Excerpt from Wiley Wallis autobiography.
