Rebeccah was born on July 22nd, 1787 in the Pendleton District of South Carolina. Rebeccah's father was Elijah Mayfield and her mother was Elizabeth --- (Mayfield). Her paternal grandparents were James Mayfield Sr. and <Unknown>. She had two brothers and five sisters, named George, William, Tabitha, Kiziah, Nancy, Elizabeth and Mary. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 65 on November 16th, 1852 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
