James M. Carroll

James was born on February 10th, 1879.  James' father was William Andrew Carroll and his mother was Sarah Jane Quillen (Carroll).  His paternal grandparents were Andrew Sterling Carroll and Anne Kelly (Carroll). He had six brothers and five sisters, named John, William, Joshua, Liondus, Lee, Willis, Jenny, Polly, Martha, Malinney and Melvina.  He was the youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 86 in June 1965 in Lewis County, Tennessee.  He was buried at the Piney Cemetery.
