Anthonetta was born in 1772 in Genderen and her baptism took place there on February 9th, 1772.1  Anthonetta's father was Huibert Verdoorn and her mother was Neeltje van der Mooren.  Her paternal grandparents were Dirck Verdoorn and Antonia Versteegh; her maternal grandparents were Cornelis Peterszn van der Mooren and Dingena Antonisse van der Blok. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Dirk, Cornelis, Cornelis, Joost, Dingena and Janneke.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 90 on December 29th, 1862 in Eethen, Genderen en Heesbeen.2
