Geertje Jacobsdr was born in March 1727 in Nootdorp and her baptism took place there on March 16th, 1727.1   Her godmother was Geertje Ewoutsdr van Willigen. Geertje Jacobsdr's father was Jacob Jacobszn Hogervorst and her mother is Neeltje Claesdr van den Bosch.  Her paternal grandparents are Jacob Jacobszn Hogervorst and Marijtje Dirksdr Vermeulen. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Jacob, Dirk, Marijtje, Anna, Lena and Anna.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 85 on January 20th, 1813 in Pijnacker.2
