Pieternella was born about 1805 in Borssele.1  Pieternella's father was Anthoni Pieterszn Hoebeke and her mother was Francina Cornelisdr van Kerkfort.  Her paternal grandparents were Pieter Anthoniszn Hoebeke and Louwrina Cornelisdr van der Vliet; her maternal grandparents were Kornelis van Kerkfort and Pieternella Marinusdr van de Vreede. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named Pieter, Cornelis, Cornelus, Willem, Anthoni, Anthonie, Marinus Livinus, Laurina, Cornelia, Maatje, Wilhelmina, Maria and Francina.  She was the second oldest of the fourteen children.  She died on April 17th, 1865 in Middelburg.1
