Anthonie was born on April 25th, 1821 in Borssele.1  Anthonie's father was Anthoni Pieterszn Hoebeke and his mother was Francina Cornelisdr van Kerkfort.  His paternal grandparents were Pieter Anthoniszn Hoebeke and Louwrina Cornelisdr van der Vliet; his maternal grandparents were Kornelis van Kerkfort and Pieternella Marinusdr van de Vreede. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Pieter, Cornelis, Cornelus, Willem, Anthoni, Marinus Livinus, Laurina, Pieternella, Cornelia, Maatje, Wilhelmina, Maria and Francina.  He was the twelfth oldest of the fourteen children.  He died at the age of 66 on October 5th, 1887 in Ovezande (Zeeland).1
