Pieter was born on January 14th, 1811 in Borssele.1  Pieter's father was Anthoni Pieterszn Hoebeke and his mother was Francina Cornelisdr van Kerkfort.  His paternal grandparents were Pieter Anthoniszn Hoebeke and Louwrina Cornelisdr van der Vliet; his maternal grandparents were Kornelis van Kerkfort and Pieternella Marinusdr van de Vreede. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Cornelis, Cornelus, Willem, Anthoni, Anthonie, Marinus Livinus, Laurina, Pieternella, Cornelia, Maatje, Wilhelmina, Maria and Francina.  He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children.  He died at the age of 54 on January 12th, 1866 in Borssele.1
