Mary Ann Harper 
Mary was born in 1879 in Co Durham.1 Mary's father was James Henry Harper and her mother was Elizabeth Haywood. Her paternal grandparents were James Harper and Sarah Lees; her maternal grandparents were William Haywood and Mary. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Henry, William, Ezekiel, John, Joseph, Mary, Sarah and Dinah. She was the youngest of the nine children.-
