Hannah Clift

Hannah was born in 1762 in Cakemore, Worcestershire and her christening took place on December 25th, 1762 at St Johns, Halesowen, Worcestershire.¹   Hannah's father was James Clift and her mother was Ann Smith. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Joseph, Josiah, Dorothy and Mary.  She was the second youngest of the six children. She had three half-brothers named Thomas, James and Samuel.
