Rachel Mendes

Rachel was born about 1825 in England. Rachel's father was Jacob (John) Mendes and her mother was Charlotte Habilho. Her paternal grandparents were David Mendes and Rebecca; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Habilho and Rebecca. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, David, Jacob, Alexander, Gershon, Abraham, Judah, Sarah and Miriam. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She died about 1900.
