Charles was born on October 21st, 1897 in Mount Morgan.1   Charles' father was Zalic (Zelig) Heiser and his mother was Louisa  Caroline Carter.  His paternal grandparents were Solomon Heiser and Sarah Hyman; his maternal grandparents were Thomas George Carter and Fanny Bailey. He had three brothers and four sisters, named <Unknown>, Jestyn, Emmannuel, Florence, Esther, Rosetta and Ruth.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 79 on December 16th, 1976 in Brisbane.1

Charles and Agnes were married.  They had three sons named Ronald, Charles and David.
