Wilfred was born on January 8th, 1928. Wilfred's father was Mr Levi James Withers and his mother was Mrs Irene Beatrice Pease. His paternal grandparents were James Withers and Mrs Alice Emma Walters (Withers). He had a brother and two sisters, named James, Alice and Bessie .
