Edward was born in 1715 in Newton Toney, Wiltshire and his christening took place there on June 6th, 1715.1 2   Edward's father was Edward Peck and his mother was Mary Piper.  His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Piper and Barbara Dennett. He had a brother and two sisters, named Joseph, Mary and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 4 in 1719 in Newton Toney, Wiltshire.3
