Hannah was born in 1771 in Kellington, Yorkshire and her christening took place there on April 28th, 1771.1 2   Hannah's father was Thomas Moverley and her mother was Ann Weldrake.  Her paternal grandparents were Nicholas Moverley and Mary  Ward. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, Mary, Ann and Elizabeth.  She was the third oldest of the six children.
