Gwladys Emily Hughes

Gwladys was born on May 10th, 1901 in 99 Burleigh Road South, Everton, Liverpool, Lancashire.¹ Gwladys' father was John William Hughes and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Turvey. Her maternal grandparents were George Turvey and Elizabeth Roberts. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John, George, Edwin, Herbert, Ronald, Margaret and Gwendoline. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 75 in 1976 in 8 Snowdon Grove Shirdley Park Estate, St Helens Merseyside. She was cremated on April 14th, 1976 in St Helens Crematoriam, Merseyside.¹¹
