George Turvey

George was born on January 29th, 1829 in Ham Common, Surrey and his christening took place on January 3rd, 1829 in Kingston upon Thames, Suurrey.¹²

George's father was William Turvey and his mother was Sarah Maskell. His paternal grandparents were Solomon Turvey and Ann Willson. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Henry, Edwin, Albert, William, Ann, Emma, Eliza, Maria and Annette. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 51 in 1880 in 76 Cobden Street, Tranmere, Wirral, Cheshire.²
