James Groves

James was born in 1722 in Newchurch, Isle of Wight.¹ James' father was John Groves and his mother was Ann Newnham. His paternal grandparents were Stephen Groves and Rebecca; his maternal grandparents were John Newnham and Martha Taylor. He had two brothers named James and William. He was the oldest of the three children. He died on October 2nd, 1722 in Newchurch, Isle of Wight.²
