Louisa was born on October 7th, 1903 in Birkbeck Street, Bethnal Green, Middlesex.1   Louisa's father was Charles Edward Brackett and her mother was Eliza Frances Mortimer. She had six brothers and five sisters, named John, Frank, Charles, George, Henry, James, Clara, Eliza, Alice, Rose and Violet.  She was the third oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 91 in May 1995 in Whipps Cross Hospital, Leytonstone, London.1
