Thomas was born on January 1st, 1907 in Tynemouth Co Northumberland England.  Thomas' father was Alexander Scott Comb and his mother was Isabella Phillipson.  His paternal grandparents were Mathew Comb and Jane Scott; his maternal grandparents were William Phillipson and Annie Keen Thompson. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, Matthew, Richard, Ralph, William, John, Mary Anne, Margaret and May.  He died at the age of 72 in September 1979 in Congleton C Staffordshire England.
