Hannah was born about 1776 and her baptism took place on September 1st, 1776 in Welton East Yorkshire.1   Hannah's father is Robert Garton and her mother is Rebecca Fox.  Her maternal grandfather is Thomas Fox. She had six brothers named Thomas, William, John, Mathew, Robert and Thomas.  She is the fifth oldest of the seven children.
