Ann was born on March 14th, 1790 in Headingley Leeds Yorkshire.  Ann's father was William Foster and her mother was Elizabeth (Foster). She had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, James, Parker, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hannah and Grace.  She is the fourth oldest of the eight children.
