Henry was born in April 1766 in Barking Essex and his christening took place on April 23rd, 1766 at St Margaret's Barking.1   Henry's father was Henry [fisherman] Thredder and his mother was Priscella Vere.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Thredder and Jane Marchant; his maternal grandfather was Henry Vere and his maternal grandmother is Mary. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Wiilliam, William, Joseph, Bannister, John, Jane, Mary, Priscella, Sarah and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 64 on November 21st, 1830 in Barking Creek.  The funeral took place on November 27th, 1830 at St Margaret's Barking.  He was buried on November 27th, 1830 at St Margaret's Barking.2
