Mary was born in 1861 in Humber St new Clee Grimsby.1   Mary's father was Thomas Douglas Perry (Fisherman) and her mother was Jemima Pollard .  Her paternal grandparents are William Perry (Porter) and Douglas; her maternal grandparents were James Pollard (net maker Fisherman) and Jane Malpas. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Henry, Francis, John, Jane, Margaret, Jemima and Sarah.  She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 13 on December 8th, 1874 in Humber St new Clee Grimsby.  The funeral took place on December 16th, 1874 at st Andrews Church Grimsby Lincolnshire.  She was buried on December 16th, 1874 at st Andrews Church Grimsby Lincolnshire.2
