Francis was born on June 6th, 1867 in Grimsby.  Francis' father was Thomas Douglas Perry (Fisherman) and his mother was Jemima Pollard .  His paternal grandparents are William Perry (Porter) and Douglas; his maternal grandparents were James Pollard (net maker Fisherman) and Jane Malpas. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Henry, John, Jane, Margaret, Jemima, Mary and Sarah.  He was the second youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 3 in April 1871 in Grimsby.  The funeral took place on April 21st, 1871 at st Andrews Church Grimsby Lincolnshire.  He was buried on April 21st, 1871 at st Andrews Church Grimsby Lincolnshire.1 1
