Mary Ann Wade: John Wade, b. about 1829, Lawrence County, Indiana, d. May 19, 1911, Daviess County, Indiana. John was buried in a Protestant cemetery at Raglesville, Indiana, which is a small town north of the homestead. he was the only one of these four brothers who was not a Catholic. John was Methodist. He served during the Civil War and was with General Sherman in his march to the sea. He married Margaret Chrichlow, and their children were John, David, and Emory.
