Georgina's father was John Wilson and her mother was Sophia Robertson. Her paternal grandparents were John Wilson and Jessie Mcwilliam. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William, James, Robert, Alfred, Alistair, Jessie, Maggie, Jane and Johan. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 83 in 1989 in Wick.
