John Towers 
John was born on October 2nd, 1888 in Paisley.1 2 John's father was John Towers and his mother was Agnes Thomson. His paternal grandparents were William Tours and Margaret Colquhoun. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Andrew, Walter, Agnes, Maggie, Minnie and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the eight children.-
