William Saunders

William was born on December 30th, 1840 in St. Quivox.¹   William's father was James Saunders and his mother was Margaret Bone.  His maternal grandparents were David Bone and Margaret Smith. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, David, James, James, Alexander, Richard, Margaret, Christiana, Elspeth, Janet, Ann and Jane.  He was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 67 on July 8th, 1908 in Kilmarnock.¹
