James Saunders

James was born on March 11th, 1839 in St. Quivox.¹   James' father was James Saunders and his mother was Margaret Bone.  His maternal grandparents were David Bone and Margaret Smith. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, David, James, William, Alexander, Richard, Margaret, Christiana, Elspeth, Janet, Ann and Jane.  He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children.
