David Saunders

David was born in 1829 in St. Quivox.¹   David's father was James Saunders and his mother was Margaret Bone.  His maternal grandparents were David Bone and Margaret Smith. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, James, James, William, Alexander, Richard, Margaret, Christiana, Elspeth, Janet, Ann and Jane.  He was the third oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 52 in 1881 in Coylton.
