Richard Saunders

Richard was born on December 24th, 1847 in St. Quivox.^1 2   Richard's father was James Saunders and his mother was Margaret Bone.  His maternal grandparents were David Bone and Margaret Smith. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, David, James, James, William, Alexander, Margaret, Christiana, Elspeth, Janet, Ann and Jane.  He was the second youngest of the thirteen children.
