John Ronald

John was born in 1840 in Paisley Abbey parish.¹² John's father was George Ronald and his mother was Margaret Tours. His maternal grandparents were William Tours and Janet Fulton. He had two brothers and four sisters, named George, William, Janet, Elizabeth, Cecilia and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He had a half-sister named Mary. He died at the age of 49 in 1889 in Paisley.
