Euphemia's father was Hugh Robertson and her mother was Elizabeth Majorrow. Her paternal grandparents were William Robertson and Isabella Finnie. She had three brothers and six sisters, named William, Hugh, James, Margaret, Martha, Isabella, Martha, Mary and Ellen. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 22 on February 28th, 1909 in Ayr.
