John McKichan Rennie

John was born on November 16th, 1838 in Barony parish and his baptism took place on December 26th, 1838 in Glasgow.¹²

John's father was John Rennie and his mother was Euphemia McKichan. His paternal grandparents were James Rennie and Janet Stronach. He had two brothers and three sisters, named James, Archibald, Catherine, Euphemia and Jenny. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Andrew. He died at the age of 47 on December 19th, 1885 in Selma. He was buried in Selma.³⁴⁵
