Archibald Reid

Archibald was born on April 3rd, 1839 in St. Quivox and his baptism took place there on April 14th, 1839.^1 2

Archibald's father was James Reid and his mother was Elizabeth Bell.  His paternal grandparents were Adam Reid and Catharine Fulton. He had five brothers and six sisters, named George, Adam, James, John, William, Catherine, Agnes, Elizabeth, Jean, Mary and Mary.  He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 77 on November 9th, 1916 in Ayr.
