Alison (Elsie) Arbuckle Peat

Alison, known as Elsie, was born in 1873 in Old Monkland.¹²

Elsie's father was Henry Peat and her mother was Janet Arbuckle. Her maternal grandparents were John Arbuckle and Marion Dick. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, John, Marion, Mary, Mary, Annie, Isabella and Jenny. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 74 in 1947 in Dalserf.
