Janet Patrick

Janet was born on January 29th, 1777 in Queenzieburn and her baptism took place on February 9th, 1777 in Kilsyth.¹   Her godfathers were James PATRICK, Alexander STEWART.

Janet's father was David Patrick and her mother was Jean Simson.  Her maternal grandparents were William Simpson and Margaret Balk. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, David, Margaret, Jean, Jean and Agnes.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.
