Grace Gowans McLean

Grace was born on September 1st, 1848 in Edinburgh and her baptism took place there on October 2nd, 1848.¹²

Grace's father was Robert Mclean and her mother was Elisabeth (Eliza) Cunningham. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Mclean and Janet Mckenzie; her maternal grandparents were Archibald Cunningham and Grace Gowans. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Archibald, Robert, William, Jessie and Eliza. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 88 on November 3rd, 1936 in Ontario. She was buried in Lanark county.
