Elisabeth (Eliza) Cunningham

Elisabeth, known as Eliza, was born on March 27th, 1824 in Uphall.¹²

Eliza's father was Archibald Cunningham and her mother was Grace Gowans. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Cunningham and Elisabeth Anderson; her maternal grandparents were William Gowans and Grizzel Barclay. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Archibald, William, Robert, Walter, Grace, Margaret, Agnes and Helen. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 85 on January 18th, 1910 in Canada. She was buried in Lanark county.
