Andrew McLatchie

Andrew was born on December 24th, 1794 in Old Cumnock and his baptism took place there on December 28th, 1794.¹

Andrew's father was Hugh McLatchie and his mother was Agnes Reid.  His paternal grandparents were John McLatchie and Janet Mcowan. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Robert, Hugh, Sarah, Margaret and Elizabeth.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 29 on September 30th, 1824 in Old Cumnock.  He was buried in Old Cumnock.^1 1
