William McDonald

William was born on February 18th, 1848 in Dundonald.¹² William's father was Charles McDonald and his mother was Janet McNidder Robertson. His maternal grandparents were William Robertson and Elspeth Thomson. He had a brother and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John, Elisabeth, Euphemia, Elisabeth, Mary, Agnes and McDonald. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died due to a medical problem, Lymphedema, at the age of 62 on November 27th, 1910 in Kilmaurs.³
