John McDonald 
John was born in 1844 in Dundonald.1 2 John's father was Charles McDonald and his mother was Janet McNidder Robertson. His maternal grandparents were William Robertson and Elspeth Thomson. He had a brother and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William, Elisabeth, Euphemia, Elisabeth, Mary, Agnes and McDonald. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died due to a medical problem, softening of brain, 14 days, at the age of 32 on May 15th, 1876 in Galston.3 -
