Alexander Kerr

Alexander was born in 1844 in Paisley.^1 2   Alexander's father was Archibald Kerr and his mother was Isabella (Bella) Purdon.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh Kerr and Margaret Anderson. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Archie, John, Jean, Jeanie, Margaret and Barbara.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
