Robert Dick

Robert was born in November 1843 in Edinburgh and his baptism took place on November 26th, 1843 in Mid Calder.^1 2

Robert's father was William Dick and his mother was Jean Spiers Brash.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Dick and Janet Smeal; his maternal grandparents were David Brash and Agnes Henderson. He had three sisters named Agnes, Jessie and Jane.  He was the second youngest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, George, Jessie and Sibella.  He died at the age of 84 on December 27th, 1927 in Edinburgh.  He was buried in Edinburgh.^3 3
