William Byers

William was born in 1854 in Midlothian and his baptism took place on December 22nd, 1854 in Ecclesmachan.

William's father was James Byers and his mother was Janet Gibb. His maternal grandparents were George Gibb and Helen Cunningham. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named William, George, James, John, Margaret, Archibald, Janet, Ellen and Jannett. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died on December 22nd, 1854.
