Alexander Brash

Alexander was born on January 17th, 1830 in Leith and his baptism took place there on February 7th, 1830.¹

Alexander's father was David Brash and his mother was Agnes Henderson.  His paternal grandparents were David Brash and Margaret Easton; his maternal grandparents were John Henderson and Jean Spears. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named David, John, David, Jean, Agnes, Agnes, Margaret, Robina, Elizabeth and Magdalene.  He was the second youngest of the eleven children.  He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, shipwreck, at the age of 36 on July 12th, 1866 in New South Wales.^2 3
